What Should I Wear?
I recommend keeping things simple and comfortable. Neutral tones, soft textures, and coordinating (not matching) outfits photograph beautifully. I’m always happy to help you plan, just reach out and I can guide you.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s completely okay, and very normal. My sessions are relaxed and child-led, so there’s no pressure for perfect smiles. Some of the most meaningful images come from those in-between moments. I want your session to be a special memory in and of itself, try not to put too much pressure on yourself and your family and let me guide you.
Where do sessions take place?
Family sessions can take place outdoors at a beautiful natural location or in your home for a more relaxed, intimate feel. Newborn sessions are held in your home where everyone is most comfortable.
What time of day are sessions scheduled?
Outdoor sessions are usually scheduled in the evening for the most flattering, soft light. In-home sessions are typically held in the morning or early afternoon.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
Your proof gallery will be delivered within 1-2 weeks. From there, you’ll select your included images and have the option to upgrade your gallery.
How many images will we receive?
Each session includes a set number of hand-edited digital images, with the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to your full gallery after viewing.
Do you offer full galleries?
Yes—once your gallery is delivered, you’ll have the option to upgrade and receive all edited images from your session.
When should I book a newborn session?
It’s best to book during your second or third trimester to ensure availability. I’ll reserve time around your due date and adjust as needed once your baby arrives.
